Savaria Link Remote Diagnostics

With Savaria Link, the status of a lift can be monitored in real time. The digital remote diagnostics system transmits the current status via Wi-Fi, so faults are spotted earlier and problems narrowed down faster. For you, this means quicker fault-finding, fewer unnecessary call-outs and a smoother process whenever a fault occurs. Savaria Link is now available on new installations of the Luma, platform lift and Primo.

Savaria Link remote diagnostics for Luma, Multilift and Primo

What is Savaria Link?

Savaria Link connects your lift to our customer service team via the internet. Authorised specialists can view the LED status indicators on the control board and access diagnostic data, with no site visit required. That means it is clear in advance what the lift is reporting.

The benefit is clear: faults are narrowed down faster, unnecessary visits are avoided and fault-finding speeds up noticeably. When a fault occurs, the system can often be checked directly from a distance. In many cases, simple guidance over the phone is enough to resolve a minor issue. If a service visit is needed, Savaria Link helps to have the right spare parts ready for the first appointment, so a second call-out often becomes unnecessary.

Setup is simple: your Wi-Fi is all it takes

For Savaria Link, a Wi-Fi connection at the lift's location is all that is needed. We take care of everything else during commissioning, with no effort on your part. Even a guest network is perfectly sufficient. You simply pass your Wi-Fi details to our technician during installation.

For the connection to work reliably, a few simple conditions help:

  • Wi-Fi reception at the lift's location: a stable signal needs to reach the control area. If necessary, a nearby repeater will do the job.
  • Network name (SSID) and password: we store these details once, during commissioning.
  • A permanently available connection: so the lift can report in whenever there is something to report.
  • A quick heads-up about changes: if the router, network name or password changes, the connection needs to be set up again.

Security and data protection

Your privacy stays protected. You don't need to give us access to your private network. In fact, we recommend a separate guest or IoT network: this keeps your lift cleanly separated from your other devices.

Only your lift's operating and fault messages are transmitted. No video or audio recordings are made. Important to know: we do not monitor your lift around the clock. We only retrieve the diagnostic data when you contact us in the event of a fault. If the Wi-Fi should drop out, your lift continues to run as normal and the connection then re-establishes itself automatically.
